Diamond Tip laser cut diamond peel: A Microdermabrasion evolution. Microdermabrasion
skin science is evolving – as is the technology associated with it. Diamond Tip is a
breakthrough, state of the art Microdermabrasion system. An innovative device, combining
the polishing action of laser cut diamond crystals, with the cleaning action of a vacuum.
Diamond Tip transforms standard Microdermabrasion into an effective, controlled
procedure conducted on the upper dermis. Even after one treatment, patients experience
a significant change in skin texture.

Made of surgical grade stainless steel, each Diamond Tip Wand tip is embedded with
natural diamond chips sifted to the exact micron size. Wands are available in two micron
chip sizes to insure proper resurfacing for each individual's skin type. Selecting the
appropriate diamond-wand, along with the adjustable vacuum, allows for a controlled
abrasion. Once complete, the skin that has been removed is deposited on a small
disposable filter for you to see.

Why Diamond Tip instead of Crystals ?
An important reason that practitioners choose a crystal-free Microdermabrasion machine is
because of the hazards found when using Aluminum-Oxide, Sodium- Bicarbonate &
Organic crystals for skin resurfacing. An issue with all crystal based systems is the
disposal of crystal based waste after several treatments. Inside the crystal are potentially
dangerous contaminants from each patients skin. In addition to the waste issue, there are
numerous studies published by the Government & various Health Journals on the dangers
of Aluminum-Oxide Dust. Even though Sodium-Bicarbonate & Organic Crystals are less
toxic than Aluminum-Oxide crystals, there is still danger of getting Baking Soda & Organic
crystals in a clients eye during treatment, causing permanent corneal scratches! Because
there are no crystals being propelled onto the skin, the Diamond Tip System allows us to
treat areas closer to the eyes and those fine lines and wrinkles around the lips.

The Diamond Tip Microdermabrasion wand has the exfoliating action of diamond chips,
the stimulating action of a vacuum, and the rehydrating effects of oxygenated air. The
Diamond Tip wand removes the topmost layer of skin leaving it vibrant and renewed. The
Diamond Tip accomplishes this by gently exfoliating the skin with natural diamond chips,
while at the same time vacuuming the dead skin cells away in a sterile and controlled.

Is Microdermabrasion safe?
Yes. Microdermabrasion is a non-surgical, non-invasive procedure that only affects the
upper most layers of skin.

Is Microdermabrasion painful?
No. Most patients feel very little discomfort.

Are there any limitations after treatment?
You can return to your normal, daily activities after treatment. Depending on the degree
and depth of each treatment, your skin may have a temporary pink coloration that could
last from a few hours to two or three days depending on the strength of the peel. And you
can usually apply make-up the next day.

Don't masks and scrubs do the same thing?
Not completely. Unlike exfoliating masks and creams, the MicroDerm II won't dry your skin
and there is no chemical residue because chemicals simply are not used. The MicroDerm II
is appropriate for all skin types and colors. Additionally, you will be amazed at your skin's
improvement after just one treatment.

How long does a Microdermabrasion treatment take and how many do I need?
An average treatment takes about 20 to 30 minutes. Of course, the larger the area, the
longer a treatment may take.

To receive the full benefit, we recommend most patients to receive about four to six
treatments two weeks apart. After that, it is best to schedule continued treatments at three-
month intervals to maintain your skin's beautiful new look. When combining treatments
with IPL Skin Rejuvenation, we recommended having your Microdermabrasion treatment
first followed by your IPL Skin Rejuvenation treatment in 3 - 5 days.
